Jeremy Shaverin is a drummer, percussionist, cavaco player, composer and teacher based in London. He
specialises in both folkloric and modern styles of Brazilian, Cuban and African music.

He attended City University, studying Music with Advanced Performance taught at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, for which he gained a 2:1 BMus (Hons). Jeremy directs, teaches and plays in Rhythms of the City, a London carnival bloco. He also plays with Paraiso School of Samba, the London School of Samba, Roda de Samba Amigos de Londres and the Christiane Petersen Trio, among other projects.
